Nonprofit tech funding can be a challenge for many organizations, and this is especially true for the smaller, grassroots nonprofits.
The good news is that there are quite a few resources and programs which can help with those funding needs, including grants from a variety of sources. The Foundation Center is an excellent place to begin research on grants, as it offers a wealth of free information on sources of grants, how to research grants and tips for grant prospecting.
Network for Good is another source of information and advice that has a special section on technology for nonprofits. Their ePhilanthropy portal is dedicated to helping NPOs harness the power of internet technology for recruitment, advocacy and fundraising. Summit Collaborative is another place to check for articles and guides on nonprofit technology funding.
